Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer my responsibilities included evaluating and constructing the architectural layouts for fiber optic plant development for Google Fiber telecommunications throughout the United States. I am an experienced drafter utilizing Google’s Weaver platform as well as AutoCAD for creating permit drawings and construction packet designs for Google. I am one of two lead design engineers currently managing a staff of ten engineers in my department.

As an assistant I maintained and installed UPS backup power systems for companies and large buildings. My main tasks included visiting various job sites to check if the UPS systems were working and the backup battery racks were all fully charged. Also I provided AutoCAD drawings for UPS Panels and other jobs. Some of our main clients included Qualcomm, Kyocera, John Wayne Airport, Los Angeles Federal Building, and Laguna Niguel Immigration Building.
